Hey guys. I know I don't post a whole lot but I usually don't have much of a reason to... lol. My life is boring </3

Happy news or bad news first? Bad first...

I've had this cat for 17 years (I'm only 17). He was 18, almost 19 years old (PEOPLE years!!!). About a week ago he suddenly started drooling a whole lot and he stopped cleaning himself. We took him to the doctor and they said it was either an abscessed (infected) tooth or mouth cancer but they didn't know which. They gave him some antibiotics and us some pain medicine for him so that maybe it wouldn't hurt him to eat. They said in a week or 2 we would come back and see how he was.
Well, a week passed and as the week went on he got worse and worse. He started trying to go outside (he usually NEVER wanted outside) and sleeping in our bathtubs/showers (he never did that before either). He started drooling more from him mouth and that drool started becoming blood. He didn't eat the entire week or drink (my mom and I would force water down his throat with little dropper things). He went from 9lbs to 7lbs in the week and it became sort of hard for him to walk. Today (01/30/12) we took him back to the vet and we put him down. We took him home and buried him in the yard. I had 2 cats and I know the other one will still be around for a really long time but this was just really hard... He was a really sweet cat and meant a lot to me. I know he's just a cat and everyone probably thinks I'm stupid for being so upset over it but he was more like a brother than a cat. He's been there ever since I can remember and now he's gone..... Fuck, I'm crying now

The good news is my parents bought me a lime green 2000 Volkswagen Beetle. It's a manual so I'm learning to drive stick shift. It's a really cute car and it's really easy to drive. We're selling my old 1998 Ford Explorer for $2,450. We got it for free when my uncle passed so it's not a bad deal. It's a good car.
On Friday when I get my paycheck I'm going to buy some daisies and put a few on Patches's grave and take the rest and put them in the little flower vase on the dash in the bug
